Leonie completed her law degree with the Open University and went on to complete her Legal Practice Course and Masters of Law at the University of Law in Bloomsbury. During her legal studies, she volunteered with Citizens Advice for 5 years.
Leonie completed her training at another Kent based firm, Tiger Law, where she qualified into disputes and commercial litigation 2019. She has advised and represented on a wide variety of matters, including construction, insolvency, boundary disputes, commercial disputes, and many more. During her time assisting with commercial litigation, Leonie has successfully resolved many debt disputes, both for claimant and defendant clients, has followed disputes through to winding up of companies, and has also had success in injunction applications.
Leonie is a qualified mediator, having completed her course in 2022, which really enhances her negotiation skills and ability to achieve the best outcomes for her clients.
In her spare time Leonie likes to spend time with her family and friends, and enjoys letting out her creative and crafting side.

Leonie acted for a Defendant who successfully defended a claim brought by a former occupant of a property claiming a beneficial interest, in which an adverse costs order was awarded on the indemnity basis against the Claimant. The case was subsequently reported online
Other recent cases
- Successfully acted for respondent clients in their strike-out application regarding an unfair prejudice petition brought under s.994 of the Companies Act 2006. The matter was subsequently settled for the benefit of the clients.
- Successfully negotiated terms of a settlement between shareholders of a commercial property company, resulting in a multi-million-pound corporate demerger.
- Successfully negotiated terms of a settlement for a client after a five-year-long dispute, including the return of shares in a company.
