Donal Blaney, the Managing Director of Griffin Law, created The Griffin Law Charitable Foundation to support national and international charities that fit with the Foundation’s ethos and pre-established requirements. Each month, the trustees of the Foundation meet to discuss how to dispense £1,000 to good works that may benefit from our funding.

This month, our staff nominated two wonderful causes on different sides of the globe. One, a tragic, major disaster that the world has been following closely, the other a little-noticed, local community need. We are delighted to be able to help both of these charities in their efforts to make the world a better place.

Animals Australia – £500
Animals Australia is providing immediate support to send expert wildlife vets to fire-devastated areas in Australia’s bush to tend to surviving animals and support local wildlife carers.

Snodland Community Cricket Club – £500
Snodland Community Cricket Club in Maidstone, Kent is run by volunteers and requires funds to pay the pitch rent, service their mechanical roller and scarifier and to purchase equipment. We are delighted to be able to help them out.

If you would like to nominate a charity for a Griffin Law Charitable Foundation donation, please download our due diligence form. The trustees will then review your submission at the next monthly meeting. If you are approved for funding, the Foundation’s secretary will be in touch with the next steps.
