Jacob completed his law degree with the University of Kent (2020) before achieving a distinction in his Legal Practice Course with the University of Law (2021). Thereafter, Jacob joined Griffin Law where he completed his training contract and qualified in October 2023.
Jacob specialises in commercial litigation and financial divorce proceedings.
Despite only qualifying in 2023, Jacob has played an important role in some of the firm’s most high-profile cases. From his involvement in large-value and highly contentious litigation, Jacob has gained a wealth of experience which he has utilised to advise his clients on the most effective manner to progress their cases. Jacob works with individual and corporate clients from a variety of industries building positive rapport resulting in rewarding professional relationships.
Recent Cases
Commercial Cases:
- Successfully finalised a large corporate settlement when acting for a company, its parent entity and one of its directors in relation to a dispute with a now-former director.
- Jacob is currently advising a corporate client in a debt recovery claim to recover sums loaned to other corporate entities with a combined claim value in excess of £15m.
Family Cases:
- Jacob has acted for several clients throughout all stages of their divorce, with matrimonial assets of a modest value, and also for higher net worth individuals, attempting to efficiently settle all matters without the need for the court’s involvement.
- Currently involved in high-profile divorce proceedings requiring the urgent implication of a non-molestation order to protect the well-being of their client.
Outside of the office, Jacob enjoys playing golf and volunteers at a local charity youth theatre group.
