Dan Sherlock

Dan Sherlock

Admission to Practice: England & Wales (2001)

Dan joined Griffin Law in 2014 as a Senior Associate solicitor and advises commercial clients on how to avoid and how to manage disputes in a range of complex but also very often quite novel legal claims.  To name just some of them, they include contractual disputes, professional negligence, commercial fraud, breach of director duties, asset freezing and recovery, breach of trust, breach of confidence, reverse passing off and database misuse /data protection.

Dan also has experience in libel and anti-harassment claims that have involved urgent injunctions.  Techniques developed and refined by Dan and his colleagues within Griffin Law include acquiring and presenting data showing wrongdoing within electronic communications, social media and the internet, together with experience in restraining misconduct by service of court injunctions and other orders on social media including Facebook.

Dan’s work involves claims from the County Court right up to the Court of Appeal.

With two young boys at home there is nothing spare about his or his wife’s time outside of work, but Dan likes to design and build with wood, cycle and enjoy Kent’s history and countryside.
