New standard document: Court application notice for use in insolvency proceedings from 6 April 2017

The standard application notice 7.1A prescribed in the Insolvency Rules 1986 (SI 1986/1925) (IR 1986) should no longer be used from 6 April 2017. The Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 (SI 2016/1024) (IR 2016) repeal the forms prescribed by the IR 1986 with for court applications presented on or after 6 April 2017 and do not replace them with new standard prescribed forms.

Therefore to assist practitioners, Practical Law Restructuring and Insolvency has created an application notice to comply with the requirements of IR 2016 that can be used for applications presented from 6 April 2017.
