The Griffin Law Charitable Foundation was created by our Founder to support national and international charities that fit with the Foundation’s ethos and pre-established requirements. Each month, the trustees of the Foundation meet to discuss how to dispense up to £1,000 to good works that may benefit from our funding.

Crowdfunding For Good From JustGiving

Young Ben has suffered potentially life-changing health issues in January.

What doctors initially dismissed as a viral infection was later discovered to be meningitis, which led to encephalitis and empyema, and then a stroke, which has left Ben paralysed down one side of his body.

Ben is currently in King’s College Hospital, where he’ll remain for the coming months to undergo intensive rehabilitation and therapy.

The crowdfunding page has been set up to assist the family with the various costs involved while Ben is in hospital, and potentially any home adaptations that may be needed.

The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance Charity

A staff member knows one of the anaesthetists who works on the helicopter and who has previously saved his girlfriend’s life due to her allergies. They have spoken at length about the charity’s need to expand its operational capabilities.

The Air Ambulance provides life-saving critical care and rapid transfers for the most seriously ill and injured people across the southwest region. Its expert teams of consultant-level doctors and specialist practitioners go above and beyond to deliver hospital-level treatment, directly at the scene of an incident.
The Air Ambulance does not receive government funding and is, therefore, heavily subsidised and supported by charitable donations, which ensure that patients can be attended to 19 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The Air Ambulance is expanding towards being able to operate 24 hours a day and acquiring a new helicopter.

The donation will also have an impact on training and equipment that is critical to mission success.

The Rotary Club of Sandwich

Each year, we hold our annual Rotary Golf Day at Princes Golf Club Sandwich. This year will be the 21st anniversary of this event, to be held on the 24th of April 2026.

The golf day is a major source of the Rotary Club’s income; it allows us to support local charities, which in turn change people’s lives for the better. Over the past 20 years, the event has raised in the region of £160K.

Each year, the incoming president chooses the charities he would like to support.

This year, our president, Lester Thompson, has chosen to support the following: The Parkinson’s Centre for Integrated Therapy, Sandwich Infant School and Hope for Tomorrow (Mobile Cancer Unit).

These are all very worthy charities that need a great deal of support to keep them going. With this in mind, I would like to ask if your company would consider supporting us again, in return we would offer advertising in our programme and on the course during the event by sponsoring one or more holes.

ADSS

At the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Services (ADSS), we exist because when there is no cure, care and support become everything.

We are here to transform dementia care and support across Kent and Medway, delivering person-centered care and support that promotes hope, purpose and dignity from the moment dementia is suspected, through diagnosis, and right through to end of life.

Our work is rooted in lived experience and a deep understanding of dementia’s realities, ensuring people are treated as individuals, not defined by their condition.

Through practical guidance, emotional support and tailored social care, we help people affected by dementia regain a sense of control, stay connected to family and community life, and live with meaning.

Churchill Business Centre – Spadework

We are getting in touch as we prepare to support one of Spadework’s first major fundraising event of the year – their Annual Easter Egg Hunt!

This event is incredibly important to Spadework, bringing families together on site while raising vital funds to support the people who attend their services. A key part of the day is that every child receives an Easter Egg as a prize once they have completed the hunt – a lovely moment for families and children alike.

To help make this possible, Spadework needs many Easter eggs, and we would love to ask for your support.

You can get involved by:

  • Donating chocolate Easter eggs to the Churchill Square Business Centre team in building 80 by Tuesday 24th March 2026, and we will drop these off at Spadework.
  • Donating chocolate Easter eggs directly to Spadework, based in Offham.
  • Contributing towards the costs of eggs by donating to the Business Centre Team.
  • A combination of both, if you would like!

Any support you can offer will make a real difference and help ensure every child leaves with a smile.

Update: Centre manager Toni Wilkinson presented a cheque for £2464.00 to volunteers at the Offham-based charity.
