The Griffin Law Charitable Foundation was created by our Founder to support national and international charities that fit with the Foundation’s ethos and pre-established requirements. Each month, the trustees of the Foundation meet to discuss how to dispense up to £1,000 to good works that may benefit from our funding.

Fundraiser for Victoria Banach by Kelly Cumming: Help Huxley Fight Leukaemia
Huxley is 10 years old and, in December 2025, was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of blood cancer. Despite his remarkable resilience and positive outlook, his cancer is now refractory – meaning the leukaemia has not been controlled by standard intensive treatments. Despite three rounds of intensive chemotherapy over the past five months in hospital, his body is still producing active cancer cells. Now, his only hope of long-term survival is an umbilical or donor stem cell transplant, which requires months of isolation and intensive treatment.
For the stem cell transplant to be possible, the cancer must be reduced to a low enough level. As mentioned, standard treatments have not worked. There are options via (CAR) T-cell therapy, and the family are now in contact with numerous hospitals abroad to determine what they may be able to offer Huxley. These treatments may be able to bring his cancer levels down enough for him to receive the lifesaving stem cell transplant he urgently needs, but each comes at an enormous cost – around £500,000.
The family are doing everything they can to support Huxley and his six-year-old brother Monty, who is now being home educated and receiving therapy to help him cope, but they cannot reach this target on their own.

Dementia UK
In June, I will be taking part in Dementia UK’s “Walk 60 miles in June” challenge. I have set my target at £720.00 as my Dad was 72 when he was diagnosed with vascular dementia.
Dementia UK support people like me, who are dealing with family members with dementia. As my Dad’s only immediate family member, and trying to muddle through this on my own as the sole point of contact for all services he is involved with, any support I can receive will be priceless. Dementia UK does fantastic work, with a helpline open seven days a week.

The Valley Invicta Primary School PTA
The Valley Invicta Primary School PTA exists to enhance the educational experience and well-being of our pupils by raising funds and building community support to provide additional resources, opportunities and improvements to the school environment.
All donations will fund targeted improvements to enhance the school environment, pupil wellbeing, and educational experience at Kings Hill School. Contributions will support outdoor play and wellbeing resources, enrichment activities, and extra equipment beyond standard school funding, creating a more engaging and inclusive space for all pupils.
Key priorities include repairing the bike shelter roof to promote safe and sustainable travel and improving classroom learning resources. These donations will complement the PTA’s existing fundraising efforts (such as the Summer Fair), allowing projects to be delivered at greater scale and benefit more pupils. All funds are managed transparently through the PTA’s established governance and financial controls to ensure effective, lasting impact for pupils and the wider community.
